Unattended, screaming children. Barking dogs. But the campground was clean, my site was well-maintained and the sunset was pretty.

Park was clean. The host was attentive and friendly. Site 7 is strictly sun so it was hot.

Very nice campground. Camping spots are a nice distance apart. Quiet place with regular camp ground joys.
Host was very friendly, stopped and spoke with guests. Always had a wave and smile on her face! We got to meet her β€œsummer” dog.

Had such a great time tent camping for 2 nights even with fire ban in place. We cooked in camp stoves. Campsites are nicely spread apart in wooded areas. Each site has a bear proof food storage locker, picnic table, and fire pit area. Had fun kayaking, caught a nice large mouth bass, and good place for just lounging in the water on innertubes. Was pretty quiet after 9pm. The host was so nice and friendly. Very helpful. Limited parking at the boat launch. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely the best camp host we have ever had. She was there last year, and really works to keep the campground in top notch shape..

This is a nice place. Quiet and good for a spring camping trip. A couple days maybe. I say spring because the swimming is not the best. Others are better when it’s hot. No beach really just rocks on the side of the river. There is a boat launch though and we kayaked. Vault roilets were kept really clean and the host was really nice and a joy to work with. The campsites are all different and really secluded from each other for the most part. Gorgeous forest. Nice little educational hiking trail my kid likes. Conveniently Close to town and Newport and priest river are fun towns. I made a turtle friend.

We were traveling in a small RV, and are very new to RVing. After staying in RV parks that were no more than a parking lot with hook ups, Pioneer was a welcomed change. We enjoyed being surrounded with such beauty. We hiked around the park, and hung out at our site. We will stay there again if our travels bring us that way.
