This is an amazing campground with lots of allure. The hike to the waterfall and the river beach access were both highlights for our stay. The lush forest is an amazing setting to relax, unwind, and detach from the hustle and bustle. Rainier National Park offers lots to do and amazing views of a majestic mountain that is certainly worth the trip.

Ohanapecosh is now one of my favorite campsites!!! I had a reservation for night 1, the site was very big and roomie with no neighbors as the next site was closed due to hazardous trees. I then got a FCFS site the next day (Wednesday AM); this was a fairly easy process that required being at the ranger office by around 730 or 800am. I believe they still had FCFS by around 1200p that day. The next site was smaller and closer to neighbors with little privacy. However, the campers were all very respectful of space and its one of the quietest campgrounds I've ever been too, despite how big it is! The creek and river run through the campground and at night you hear the river running which was soothing and glorious. All the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. Lots to explore with the river and Silver Falls Trail Loop right from the campground. Many loops and sites to fit every type of camper's needs. Will be going back yearly!

I want to thank the ranger staff for being so efficient in helping me with my issue. When I arrived someone had parked their car in my reserved spot and left the area. Instead of having to wait an indeterminate length of time for them to return, the rangers found me another site in which I could set up camp. We really appreciate their timely help!

Fantastic campground! Not very buggy during our trip either. There is some construction/road closure on the road leading to campground but luckily we didn’t get caught in it! About 45 minutes to Paradise.

Great campground and campsite, space 19 in loop A. Clear restrooms as close to the river. Nice hike up to the grove of the Patriarch’s right from the visitor center.

Stunning campground. Great hiking, quiet atmosphere, limited rv spaces--more geared for tent camping. Beautiful!

Beautiful old growth forest campsite. Not for extra long truck trailer combinations over 40'.

Always clean! Great having a bear box at each site. Our site was next to the road/bridge and right above the river. The sound of the river was soothing and we didn’t hear much road noise or other campsite noise. Easy access to Paradise and Sunrise! Highly recommend!

One of the most peaceful and well-designed national park campgrounds. Sounds of the mountain stream were an added bonus. Rangers were very helpful. We'd love to come back soon.
At first, we missed the turnout to the camp since all road signs were removed due to the road construction.
