Beautiful location, a little road noise for sites near the road but not bad, and easy walk to Hot Springs.

Nice bathroom facilities and dishwater station; the campsites are right in the woods, a bit close to each other, but still private. The Hot Springs Resort is close-by and offers a nice restaurant and the opportunity to enjoy the pools (entry fees are too high, so we opted not to go). A great hike leads to the falls; trailhead is right in the campground, or you can drive further up.

Our site was one of the nicest. The parking spot was right next to the parking for the nest site, which would have been tough if they were also sleeping in their campervan (like us). How we the actual site was large and private in the beautiful rain forest. It was also about 20 feet away from the trail to Sol Duc falls. I highly recommend taking the trail to the falls from here rather than driving down to the parking area. This first mile and a half is much quieter and prettier through the rain forest and you get to see lots of huge trees. Once you get to the part near the parking that everyone takes, it’s crowded and not as nice of a trail (although the falls are awesome).
The campground itself is very nice - the bathrooms were always clean but like many in the national parks, they were chronically out of hand soap.

We were in site 59. Talk about a prime spot. It had everything. 2 spots for hammocks. 4 possible spots for a 5 person tent. Plus a small trail to reach a stream. The host even was in the spot adjacent and he played some great guitar.

Beautiful location 20 minute drive off Hi-101 provided seclusion in a very busy park. Minutes walking distance from the hot springs resort and pools a plus. Adjacent to beautiful Sol Duc River.
The electrical hookup campground was a square gravel parking lot with about 16 trailer pads with trees around the perimeter. Each parking pad has electric and water hookup plus a fire pit and picnic table in the woods, providing shade. No toilet facility in the electrical hookup loop other than what you’re bringing with you, but there are two other traditional camping loops within walking distance.
A short drive to a trail with a gorgeous waterfall and another nature trail in a grove of ancient trees.
We stayed a week to see all of the park sites and used the hot springs daily. Get to Hurricane ridge early as their visitor center burned down and very limited access. Also to Hoh Rainforest early in day (before 9 am or after 5pm while we were there). Both worthwhile. We also went to Dungeness bay National Wildlife Refuge in the San Juan de Fuca Straights which was very enjoyable.
Enjoy your visit to this magical part of the country. We did!

Loved our short stay at this campground. Very peaceful and beautiful. Didn’t get to go to the hot springs but will definitely go next time.

Sol Duc is gorgeous and peaceful. We booked the accessible site, and it was fine. However, it was too near the parking lot and restroom area for our liking. The camp host helped us move to an open site farther back in the loop.

We camped in loop b. All the campsites were about equal with the exception of the ones immediately adjacent the entrance that were not as nice. The host was informative and social. The bathrooms clean. We had a dog and it is limiting. It would be great if national parks opened the trail from loop b to the lodge for dogs. The hot springs are a highlight. The lodge doesn’t really carry any camping necessities so don’t forget anything! Great place to go!

We stayed loop B. It was very quiet and very clean. The site was beautiful. I think we had one of the larger sites. I loved that the campground felt secluded and there was no wait (long line) to access this particular campsite. It’s also super close to hike to the falls. My only complaint is that i felt the charge to access the mineral pools was excessively expensive.
