We stayed at the RV campground with our 32ft RV. The campsite was nice. Great picnic table and firepit. It would have been a little nicer to have some more space between sites with some greenery in between. It kind of felt a bit like a parking lot. It also would have been nicer to have the bathrooms closer. Be prepared to use your RV for all restroom needs and have an empty tank. If you plan on using the Hot Spring they have open (no doors) showers available to guests, so we brought our shower supplies to use after entering the hot springs.

RV lot of the campground is terrible. Just a gravel parking lot, and the spaces are super tight. The “Resort” is outdated and ugly. Not well maintained. The hot springs pools are nice, but is an added cost to your trip, and for just 1.5 hours of access. Also be aware that you have to pay a fee to get into the National Park where the resort is located, on top of your reservation fee.
All those negatives aside, the natural beauty is phenomenal and if you can put aside the ugliness of the resort/RVcampground, it is worth it. Loops A and B are much nicer, just avoid the RV lot.

The site A27 is not a trailer site. We could not for our 18ft trailer in there and there is not enough space for the trailer and the car.

The spots are very close. Lots of bees and other things in the area.

We had loud neighbors until 1:00 in the morning. Never saw a ranger while we were there.

The RV campgrounds have everything you need, but look more like a parking lot. There are some lovely trails through the regular campgrounds that you can access from the "RV Court" but there is little to no privacy between RV spaces.

My disappointments came early as he camp site we had reserved turned out to be different than the description at Recreation.gov. The site was described as “back in” for vehicle, max 2 vehicles. We had to park in diagonal parking nearby and walk in to the camp site. The area had three camp sites that were not clearly defined and very close together. Thankfully, othered camping in the this area ended up be “ok” once we explained and pointed out the various camp site number.
The hiking trails were great. The camp grounds were close to multiple trails of varying difficulty.

It is a beautiful campground that is very well maintained. The hosts weren't on site most of our visit but on their return we found them very nice and answered our questions. Really beautiful area!
