What Guests Are Saying
Fishhook Park is a well-maintained, beautiful location with friendly hosts and clean facilities, making it a great spot for family outings and camping. Visitors appreciate the ample water access, quiet atmosphere, and the convenience of a nearby gas station. Some concerns include limited swimming access due to algae blooms and occasional discomfort from biting flies, but overall, guests express a desire to return.

Volunteers are doing a great job keeping the park looking good. They do need to take more care when setting sprinklers…my trailer kept getting hit. Park is quiet for the most part. Trains come through which can be annoying. Bathrooms are kept clean, but could use upgrading.

Park is clean and well managed, spaces are open and easy to get into- we really enjoy the swimming area as well

Great place to camp. many vacant sites during the week. Host was great...moved us from our reserved site to a better adjoining site. Restrooms clean and well maintained.

Overall a very nice campground. Campsites are spacious. Lots of "goatheads" in the park, have to dig them out of your shoes every time you walk around - also very hard on pets feet making it difficult for them to walk. Maybe some weed killer sprayed in the spring would help to control it. Back in spaces difficult to back into. Policy says to clean up after pets but grassy areas were covered with dog feces. Restrooms are old and not well maintained - maybe time for a remodel!

We were disappointed to learn, after we arrived, that they were sort-staffed so their would be no camp host for the next 3 days - which also meant the front gate would not be locked. Not a comfortable feeling.
