What Guests Are Saying
Fishhook Park is a well-maintained, beautiful location with friendly hosts and clean facilities, making it a great spot for family outings and camping. Visitors appreciate the ample water access, quiet atmosphere, and the convenience of a nearby gas station. Some concerns include limited swimming access due to algae blooms and occasional discomfort from biting flies, but overall, guests express a desire to return.

I have been coming to Fishhook Park since 1971. It’s always been lush and green and most of the attendance very friendly. However this year they did not have a maintenance contract with cleaning or landscaping so the grass was not as green as normal the bathrooms were not as clean as normal. The prices we pay to camp should will exceed what it would take to hire a local maintenance company to clean and to come in water and mow. I’m very ashamed of the Corps of Engineers for not keeping up this great park

Not a fan of the whole locking of the gates between 10-pm & 6am. Also no alcohol or fire pits!!?? I mean really!? Propane fire pits aren’t outlawed by the State, but at this campground they are!! Horrible raccoon problem, woke me up at 4:00am both nights I was there.

Had a great time, the couple that managed the park was great!
However the grass was a bit dead and dry!
