Beautiful lake with amazing views. We were at the campground behind the bathrooms, so there was a faint smell at times, but other than that it was an awesome camping trip.

The campsite parking area is quite spacious, a good fit for a big RV. The spring weather was a bit chilly. After camping here several years in the late summer when the lake is down 10-20 feet it was nice to see the lake full.

Very nice camping spots. Nice area along the reservoir for recreation. Interesting to check out the dam. But be prepared for rain. Will likely rain at least once while your there. FS road leaving the campground westbound was a nice drive (unpaved).

I hesitate to loudly express how much I love this campground, but I fear if I don't we may lose a Gem of a campsite.
Prepared for a July 4th experience of overcrowded campground with noise and fireworks and general chaos, though was surprised to find a good number of Open/Available campsites (1/4 - 1/3 of sites were available). Lots of trees and shrubs to separate campsites from one another, potable water and flushing toilet facilities. Beautiful wilderness, gorgeous lake, lots of wildlife to observe.
I'm not sure if its the relative remoteness of the road leading to COHO from the South, ( as opposed to the northern route of Olympic National Park/Forest which tends to be more utilized by tourists) but apparently the fact that this campsite is not as well utilized has put it in the crosshairs of potentially being shut down. This is a glorious campground, and as much as I love sparsely populated campgrounds, we might lose this one if more folks do not start supporting it.

Great experience at Coho! First time in the Olympics so wasn't sure what to expect but found a very well kept campground with decent restrooms, a nice drive in, friendly people, and an awesome lake to enjoy. Would definitely camp here again when something remote but not quite yet in the middle of nowhere!

The yurt was very nice! Other campers were very loud which wasn't great. One nearby campsite had a video going all night long. Aside from the noise it was very nice.

The Camp host and facilities are amazing. Bathrooms were cleaned and well maintained, and the yurts could t have been better. 10/10
