Coho is hands down one of my favorite places to camp. I love the proximity to the water and that the bathrooms are so clean! 🏕😃

Cons: 1. There were surrounding trees but too sparse to pull up the four corners of a tarp unless your tarp is supper big or having long enough ropes. 2. The ground was too hard to push stakes into. 3. The space is not secure. I and my tent can be clearly seen by people from the next spot B29.
Pros: 1. Close to bathroom. Bathroom was well maintained. 2. The surrounding trees were tall and the scene was beautiful. 3. The place doesn’t seem to be one that would have thief or bear.

A very beautiful, clean, and well maintained campground. All of the spots had beautiful, unique views. If you are planning on going into Olympic National Park be warned that this campground is FAR! It's 40 minutes off the main road to the campground and roughly 2-3 to the nearest park entrance. Well worth it though if you're doing a multi day trip or want a great campground to go hang out with some friends at

Very nice campground. Most sites are big with long, fairly level blacktopped pads and a nice area to pitch an additional tent.

I loved my stay! The only thing that I find off is that the camp hosts now stay at satsop instead of the coho campground. There is no phone service at coho or cell service, how does a camper get anything helped after 4pm? What happens if there is a problem???? I've been coming to coho since I worked there in the 1980's. This is not the first year that no camp host stayed. My complaint is also from other campers. Like those that get in after 4pm, and find someone camping in their spot....... What are they supposed to do?????

This campground has be ry nice well-sited and private-feeling camping sites. We enjoyed the quiet and the dark sky. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Thanks!
