Beautiful setting. The view of Mt. Adams looking across the lake is spectacular. The mosquitoes are the downside. They were unbearable for us.

Challenging times, including big wind storm in the days just prior to our arrival and smoke from regional fires enveloping the area during our stay. The camp host did all possible to keep us informed and make the stay as nice as possible. Outhouses clean, which is always appreciated.

How can you not like a campground with a postcard view of Mt. Adams? Takhlakh Lake is a little hard to get to, but well worth the drive. The camp host was very friendly. With the views and the ability to put paddle boards and boats on the lake, it is a bit crowded. The one thing I would change is to make fresh water available (from a well?).
