My first frustration was that I tried to book a site for 2 nights but according to the website I could only book the Thursday night and not the Friday night since weekend nights were 1st come 1st served. I booked Thursday figuring we would be there 1st for Friday night. When we got to the site, another family had reserved the site for the following night.
My second frustration was that the camp hostess was very rude. I went to their site to ask about an availiable site we saw on our drive in. She came out of the bus clearly annoyed at my being there. I said that I'd like to take the open site. She swiped her hand across the white board hanging outside the bus door with avaliable sites on it and said there ya go, turned and went back inside the bus.
Other than some rowdy neighbors Friday night, the campground was very clean as well as the bathrooms. My kids had a lot of fun.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Walupt CG - from the crystal clear cool lake water, to the decent campsite, to hiking the Nannie Ridge trail, and also exploring this slice of the Gifford Pinchot/Goat Rocks Wilderness. Will definitely return next time with kayaks & a mask/snorkel! Highly recommend this CG.

Campsite 7 is the worst campsite I have ever stayed in. No privacy, very dark, and lots of noise from neighbors on all sides.
