What Guests Are Saying
Walupt Lake Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained facilities, and opportunities for hiking, swimming, and fishing, making it a favorite for many campers. The campground is generally quiet, with spacious sites and clean bathrooms, enhancing the overall experience. However, some campers noted issues such as the absence of potable water, rough access roads, and occasional cleanliness concerns in the restrooms, along with a presence of mosquitoes and other insects.

The organization responsible for maintaining the toilets did not do a very good job of keeping them clean and stocked.

Really nice / pretty lake. Very nice beach and swimming area. Most for the camp sites are reasonably far enough apart. Unfortunate that the Forest service has chosen to not repair the pump that provided water to outlets in the camp ground.

Beautiful campground and hiking. The lake is beautiful and big enough for everyone. The only thing that would make the campground better is potable water.

This lake is beautiful. The campground is very rustic with no running water and the pit toilets are pretty disgusting. Also, the mosquitoes were horrible.

Beautiful lake (I mean WOW) and nice, spacious campground. Only issue was the mosquitos! Definitely come prepared for them and not just dusk and dawn. Will be back!
