What Guests Are Saying
Goodell Creek Campground offers beautiful and well-maintained sites with easy access to the Skagit River, making it a great spot for those looking to enjoy nature, hiking, and fishing. Campers appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, spacious sites, and the peaceful atmosphere, often enhanced by the sound of the river. While some campers noted road noise and the primitive amenities, many felt that the stunning surroundings more than made up for these drawbacks, providing a lovely camping experience.

The campgrounds are great, with a few, widely spaced campsites. Easy access to the beach on the Skagit river is a real plus. The hydro power plant is a great visit with excellent exhibits and a beautiful walk in the hill above.

We had a site on the creek side that had access to the water. It was very nice. Little to no mosquitoes. All we could hear was the creek running. I did hear that sites next to the road could hear cars all night. Only two out houses for the whole camp. Water is faced regularly between sites. Clean and natural sites.

We had a reservation for two nights, but left after one. Lots of road noise, starting with logging trucks very early in the morning. The vault toilets had no lighting and were painted dark brown inside.

Lovely, quiet and right next to the river. The new tent pads were amazing. Restrooms were clean. There was still a park ranger changing signage, though she didn't have time for the general education that we had so valued in the past.
We weren't thrilled with putting the one loop on a one-week reservation system.
