Steep road coming in from any direction, to be expected in the mountains. To bad it's not build on the lake instead of the middle of nowhere, Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean campground. Make sure you have groceries before you go town is a bit of a drive to walmart. Camp store has some things. Best to come in from the south not the north, just better wider road.

Nice little campground with nice hiking trails. Deer. Flush toilets. Clean. Shower was ok. Water wasn't overly hot but quite doable. Very nice hosts. Water available (not at site). Steep hills and narrow turns getting to cg but not a problem - 33' 5th wheel and full size dually.

Perfect place to camp if you want a well-kept, fairly private site. Large and level. Restrooms very clean. No complaints! I'll be back!

The ACE campground was well designed and well maintained. The only down side were the restrooms and showers. The restrooms had strong sewer odors and the showers were quite mildewy.
The location and scenery were beautiful and the Archery range is top notch.

Be careful in the Spring. Sites 53,55,57,59,61, and more. The caterpillars are voracious and can cover your car/camper/tent in catapiller poop in very short order. And never eat outside of walk around without a hat. Otherwise its a really nice campground. It seems a little primitive for a ACE campground, but it has nice sites and a good shower house and an extra bathroom house located in the middle of the upper loop.
