Best hosts ever, Tom and Susan Robertson from Charleston SC. Great weather, they really need to have conservation police there more especially when they are stocking trout and every weekend.

Great spot for bird watching. Scarlet tanagers, whippoorwills, pine warblers. Don’t follow the Google map directions.

Trout Pond Hike- GWNF. Lost City, WV.
One of the most beautiful campgrounds in GWNF, where you can enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming at the same time, there are plenty of barbecue and picnic tables, campsites and shower facilities around Lake Rockcliff. The hiking course has a short course of 4.0 miles, a medium course of 6.0 miles, and a long course of 8.5 miles.
