Campsite areas are well tended and shaded which was great in warm weather. Beach area very nice, and all bathrooms clean and litter free. Hiking trails well marked. I appreciated that it was quiet and remote. A great experience and I will recommend Trout Pond, WV site as well as return for tenting.
Day use was far enough away that it didnt bother the tenting experience.

We always love trout pond however this year we had a neighbor who ran their generator all day long on a Saturday from 10am until we asked them to turn it off at 6pm. I would love to see generators banned from trout pond.

Smaller campground with well spaced sites. Clean fully functional bathrooms and showers spaced evenly throughout campground. Campsites large and level. Beach within walking distance to campsites and is well maintained.
