We had such an awesome experience. This place is so family friendly. Nice trails, little sand beach, fishing areas, gravel bed campsites, and completely in tune with nature. Along the campsite, there is a nice stream and my kids had a very nice time exploring the water too. We saw plenty of deers (but mostly in night, so plan for little walk or drive in night).

The campground is beautiful and the sites on the outer parameter back up against the woods. Some campsites are a bit close to each other. Lots of places to hike in the woods.

Wonderful campground! Hosts were nice although we didn't interact too much with them. Bathrooms were clean but we did not use the showers so cannot speak to those. Sites were clean, too. If you have AT&T and want to get a little cell service go up the trail towards the overlook and you only have to reach the fork in the trail to get about 2 bars. If you go up higher to the overlook we had all bars available, plus the view was gorgeous! Each day we saw wildlife in our camp site. The walk around the lake was easy and very enjoyable. We would definitely go back! Make sure to bring firewood prior to arriving though, no camp store or anything close to purchase from. Water spigots and dump station were easy to use.
