Campgrounds are kept clean and safe for all campers. If more new campers would read rules before complaining and obey rules it would be excellent place for any family to camp. The lake is so beautiful

we camp here every yr. we love it here. we will be back next yr and or this yr b4 the time runs out for the yr to tent camp. we love the water sites bc of ALL the water toys we have and kids that comes with us. the only thing we hate is that there is NO CELL SERVICE AT ALL unless we make the 10 mile drive back to gomart at the flatwoods exit. we had bought the internet service here and that still was silm to none for that also. but other than them 2 things its a great place for the family we been coming here for the last 5 yrs and love every mint of it. on the days we leave the kids say can we stay longer they dont want to go back home its so peaceful here.

We have been camping here for quite some time. This time was awful. There was a group of people who came in and had 5,6,7 campsites. Not exactly sure how many, but they took over without any respect for other campers. They broke all kind of rules and most of it was witnessed by the older folks who were also camping with them. When you register at the gate they give you a copy of the rules. Someone, (not us) must have complained and some of the rule breaking was stopped. They should have been expelled from the campground. We had a 14 day reservation in July and another 14 day reservation in August. We cancelled them both due to the stress we experienced in June. When we left 2 days early, the lady at the sign in and out building asked if we were leaving and I told her we were leaving due to the group in our loop. She obviously knew or at least had an idea of what was going on with this group. We will probably never stay there again.
