Campground host was awesome. The comfort station in the campground is overdue for upgrades but the vault toilets were all nicely maintained and clean. Would return anytime!

Stuart campground was very nice. The campers were all well behaved and the campground was very quite. Stuart campground is located close enough to Elkins, WV to get anything you needed such as fuel, repairs and supplies without being too close to the campground.

So peaceful and quiet. A great place to stay and get back to nature. I was amazed at the big trees and lush greenery. So beautiful. I hope to be back at Stuart’s one day.

Tha pavilion is small, but manageaeble for about 20 people under cover. More if it isn't raining. No close parking, so be prepared to haul your stuff and no close restroom, so plan ahead. Suart Rec Area is a great space.

We were in site 10, which shows as a double site 99' long. It was the first time I had seen a double site that was not side by side. Whoever gets here first, will be the last to leave as the side is set up to park in a single row. This site is not 99' long. I could only measure it by stepping it off, but I would guess it is 85" long. I wish the Forest Service had photos of the sites on their reservation page. The campground is very nice and be sure to visit the recreation area by the water
