Beautiful quiet campground with many spacious sites. Well kept and the camp host was super kind and helpful. Nice swimming area at the river. Only thing lacking, in my children’s opinion, is there is no playground area. We will camp here again!

Camp sites are very nice, spacious in rhododendron. Paved sites, some have a drop off. All bathrooms are pit toilets except the main bath house, which has showers (it could be a little more up to date). Quite. Next to the recreation area, which has big fields and near river. Host very helpful.

The Stuart Recreation campground is well maintained with plenty of trees for privacy between each site. Each site has electric and there are plenty of water faucets. The Day use park is beautiful. It has a small sand beach with bath house--3 covered pavilions to rent and plenty of single picnic tables through out plus fishing in the river. Elkins is just a short drive from the campground.

We had our company picnic at the large pavilion. The grounds are well kept and the staff was very helpful. There was plenty of space for our large group. Definitely recommend!

We love Stuart’s Park. It offers very private sites with a little bit of adventure for everyone. My son and I hiked the River Loop trail twice. My husband and son enjoyed fishing in the stream. Plus, we enjoyed running around with the dog in the large flat field. It was the perfect three day weekend spot to relax. We will be back.

Beautiful area, nice and quiet and the camp host was very friendly. We showed up with no reservations, picked a spot right up front and was welcomed by the host. We would gladly stay here again.

The camping are was in excellent condition as was all the facilities. Clean , well maintained with great privacy between sites. Camp Host was friendly, professional and justifiably proud about about a camping area that excelled in all areas.
