What Guests Are Saying
Battle Run Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location by Summersville Lake, well-maintained sites, and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. We have camped at battle run for years with the exception of the last 4-5 years and have always enjoyed our trips! Wish the reservation were easier for West Virginians!!!

It was wonderful, the children are safe, the kids were able to completely enjoy the area! A great place to be! The bathrooms were clean and well kept! Can’t wait to camp there again!

Two of the showers in one of the bath houses had No Hot Water 2 days in a row. The other shower house has the hot & cold water reversed with no identification.
We really don't understand because it has been this way for years & why they can't fix it
The weekend of the 22nd & 23rd there was a lot of nasty drift wood floating in the lake.
Very disappointed!!
