We love it here. It’s gorgeous, sites are awesome especially ones on lake. We enjoy every visit. Wish it was easier to make reservations but sometimes we get lucky!!

We went once for for 3 days with our service animal to check the location out.. The location was very nice so we planned a trip with my in laws and they brought their boat and rv & be brought our boat and rv and booked it in advance for multiple days.. To our surprise when they asked if we had a service animal and of course we said yes the park ranger came to our rv and after questioning me decided to refuse us as he determined my animal was only a emotional support animal and stated he could not legally look at the service dog Id badge that was on my dog with his picture and ID number? He was extremely rude and refused to list my refusal reason on the refund that I had to go back to the booth to multiple times to try and get a full refund because apparently only the ranger can approve it?? To make matters worse they did not explain that to me in the beginning so went I got a cancellation notice it stayed I was charged a cancellation fee and when I had to go back to the booth the lady working it screamed that I needed to stop going to the booth that she can’t help me! I have never been treated so poorly or had such an awful experience.
Had the staff and ranger taken a moment to explain to me about how the refund process works and that he had to issue each individual cancellation fee refund as a request as well as take the time to make sure it was entered properly and fully it could have been as simple as ok we are not happy but we got fully refunded. The crazy part is my in-laws stayed there anyway because the ranger that denied us allowed my in-laws to go in with their cat in there rv… So I would never recommend this park as it was a Horrendous experience!!
