Check in was not good. After standing in line about 30 minutes or more, the young man said they had not checked out. I said it’s 6:15 they are required to be out at 5:30. He said sometime they just leave. I asked if he could please check. He said he had no one. The line was long for people checking in. I asked if I could check and I did and it was empty. I was told they left earlier that day. I went back to check in again and instead of allowing me to go before the line I was told to get back in line again and had to wait again. That was so frustrating. Another gentleman had experience the same thing but had to keep waiting as there was no one to check on his spot. Suggestion: At 5:30 have someone drive around to be sure they have checked out and report back to the checkin area.

My family has been camping at Battle Run since it opened when I was a child & it just continues to go downhill. Bathrooms need major updating. Grass is not mowed regularly.

This was my first time to Battle Run in about 10 years and it was beautiful, with the following exceptions my campsite wasn’t clean there were cigarettes butts everywhere and the fire pit was full of plastic trash. I picked up 15 cigarette butts.
Another observation was that hardly anyone uses the overflow parking and everyone parks in the green space, I even saw someone drive through campsites to get to there site on the other side of the loop. I think the camp host should enforce no parking ion the grass.

The electric scooters regulations should be looked at a little closer. I can understand the rules and regulations for this matter. And the liability. But a lot of your customers or elderly with problems and mobility. I’m 65 years old and use an electric scooter for going to the restroom and shower area only at a safe matter. A signed contract that all liability should go to the renter. Also an age limit to your distress/choice. If not an adult supervision at all time.
