This park is located in the high mountains of West Virginia in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains with a very good two lane paved road from the highway to get you there. The bath rooms and shower facilities are getting old and worn out. No power, water or sewage on the sites though there is a reasonably good fill/dump station at the gate entry. The beauty of this area is that the sites are spaced for privacy and it is a boon dockers dream, an older park sporting beautiful mature woods with hiking trails and a stunning mountain lake with a boat rental/concessionary supply by the lake and a very decent beach area with showers. The area is maintained very well and is patrolled for safety. A jewel in the mountains.

Glad to see that the lily pads have been cleared from the lake and some maintenance improvements have been completed on the Lake Trail.
The Hosts in West Shore were excellent. They kept the facilities very clean and visited with campers.
Glad to hear that more major improvements are on the way for Pine Run and Upper Meadow.
We love coming here. Keep up the good work.
