This was our first trip there. The lake was beautiful. However before we got there the storm came thru. So I could understand no power. But we had to leave before we could even start our second night. The bathrooms was closed we was tent camping and no way could go with out them. So we gave up 2 nights of reservations. Probably won't go back.

We had a great time camping with family. We camp at Sherwood Lake every year and have since I was small. Started with my parents and now take our children and grandkid. Fishing was great while we were there. Lots of bass and nice size bluegills. We did have a couple massive storms and trees down, but no one was hurt. Thankful my nephews had chain saws to cut our way out during the first one so we could get to the beach area to safety. Helped cut a tree off of a vehicle also.

Absolutely beautiful location for a camping getaway. The camp attendants were kind and helpful, the lake was gorgeous, and the starry sky is a sight to see on a clear night. Hiking, swimming, and boating were a blast. We definitely plan on coming back.
