Lovely lake. My family had a great time on their first camping trip there. We stayed almost a week. I enjoyed myself but if you are planning on going fishing, have your fishing license before you get there because this camp grounds doesn't have onsite temp licensing for fishing and Walmart is 45 minutes away. Some camp sites I've been to do have temp fishing license. Another thing is if you are camping in a tent, bring you a set of solar panels. Only the bath house has electric. Bring non perishable food. Use zip lock freezer bags to put ice in to keep food and drink cold without the mess of water in the bottom of the cooler. The boat house sells ice, eggs and milk. There are bears and what my husband calls "Mafia squirrels." Do not leave food out or trash out! We seen a black bear crossing the street on our way back into the park our 2nd day there. The wild life was beautiful. Very Clean and well kept camp ground. I took a shower in the bathhouse with a tree frog which was so cool. we swam, my husband rented a boat on the lake and took our son out fishing for the first time. They ended up playing pirates instead. I recommend this place 100%. Disconnecting from the world and resting under the stars, was just what our family needed before school started back up. The camp staff was great and very helpful. thank you

We always stay in meadow creek.my husband has been camping here since he was a child with his family. We have been camping with our family for 32 years. We enjoy making memories the whole family every year.
The camp host Jerry and Ruth are the best!
Always willing to help when you need it.
The sites and bathrooms was always clean.
Would like to see more activities and movie nights for the kids.

Wonderful camping with big family. Everything was good. Only complaint is that they would not let my Uncle change campsite at check in. There were sites all around us that were empty and not reserved.

We always have a great time, meeting new & old friends, swimming, bike riding, hiking, gathering around the campfire. They have a amphitheater were they have stuff going on sometimes. Our host in west shore were very nice & friendly, they kept the bathhouse clean, and if we needed anything they were right there to help. There is no electric hookups, or water. But you can have a generator & us it from 10-6 if needed. There is a place to get water too fill your jugs up with. Animals have to be on a leash at all times. There are places to visit close by: Cass railroad, snowshoe, bear town, & others. We have been going up there since 1974, it’s our home away from home so Peaceful & quiet.
