Love the lake except for the lily pads. The host in west shore Alfred & Janet Igo were excellent, they kept the bathrooms spotless, the sites mowed & clean. If you had a problem they were on it. You can go biking, swimming, hiking, boating, play horseshoes, volleyball. Nice playground. Very quiet and peaceful.

We had an amazing experience at Lake Sherwood. We stayed on site 72 which was right near the boat launch so it was super easy to put our kayak in the water. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the water and saw the sunset each night on our boat. Loved watching all the wildlife. A deer visited our area every morning and evening. We took the hike around the lake and noticed all the beaver activity. The stars were amazing! The bathrooms could definitely be cleaner but otherwise one of our favorite places to visit so far. The site was shady and had plenty of room for our tent, hammocks and screened in tent.

We stayed in the WSHR loop at the campground. That section was extremely well maintained by camp hosts Alfred and Jane. The grass was mowed and the bathhouse spotless. It was by far the nicest campground we've ever stayed at! Quiet, beautiful lake to kayak and swim, nice hiking trails.

Always a great experience at Lake Sherwood. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything was neat and tidy at the campsites and restrooms/showers. Never want to camp anywhere else

Perfect for the Bailey’s getaway there were 40 of us. Just wish there were a few more handicap sites. We were in the Meadow Creek loop and the Camp Host Jerry and Ruth are AWESOME!!!
