Nice campground. Someone needs to control the generator use 14 hours a day is to much!

Quiet campground only about half full on labor day weekend. Clean rest rooms. Only second time using national campgrounds but love the peace and quiet.

Love this place. Back to nature. Very clean they come around and clean the pit toilets everyday during the season.

We love Spectacle Lake. The Lake itself is so nice and clean, and our lab loves it. We like being able to use our generator. The only thing that keeps me from classifying Spectacle as five stars is our cell phone coverage. We have AT&T and can't really call, text, or even use cellular data with any reliability. Obviously, we don't go camping to use the internet, but we do like to keep in touch with our kids and like to have a balance between tech and no tech.

Great campground! The bathrooms were clean, the beach was welcoming and the sites were lovely. There is a fishing pier and a hiking trail that go to a neighboring campground on a different lake.

From Eagle River, travel 7.6 miles to FR2178 (Military Road). Turn left (north) and continue 2.9 miles to Kentuck Lake Road (FR2465). Turn right (northeast) on FR2465 and continue 1.7 miles to FR2196. Turn left (north) and continue 2.2 miles to Spectacle Lake Road (FR2572). Turn right (east) and travel 1.2 miles to the campground.
