Boot Lake Campground is praised for its spacious campsites, beautiful natural setting, and clean facilities, making it a great spot for a quiet getaway. The location is conveniently close to town, yet maintains a serene atmosphere, with clear lake waters perfect for swimming. Clear lake with sandy bottom allows you to access water lakeside campsites easily, for either swimming or kayaking -in our case.
We saw lots of bass and panfish.
Quiet lake during the week.

Great lake for kayaking. Campground not crowded. Beautiful experience all around. IF you can get by without any hookups. We have solar and got by fine the guy next to us had a generator and ran it too often - that part was annoying.

Availability of fresh water was limited to the hand pump by the beach. Not convenient to camp sites. Found it easier - with better quality of water - to go to the Bass Lake beach.
