Been enjoying Boulder lake campground for many years. The volunteers have done a great job. Except the lady in the back electrical sites. She has been there for several years now and she does what she wants. Her dogs are always off their leash. She was down by the beach early morning and her dog was running all over the beach while she was talking on her phone. She is a wood hoarder. Her campsite looks terrible with rows of fire wood. I like to leave wood for the next camper, but she comes around and steals it after you leave.

Campsites, restrooms, and beach area were kept very clean. Dog barking was minimal. One very noisy generator close to my site. I wish they would institute a max decible limit for generators. Otherwize our stay was enjoyable.

The showers at the group campsites were barely warm. I talked to the host, he stated it was working, but reset it anyway. No matter how long we ran them, the temp didn't even reach body temp. Years past we've had much warmer/ hotter showers.

It is buggy so dress appropriately and bring along the bug spray. Boulder Lake is a clear lake wIth very nice beach area. Kayaking the lake is nice. Bathrooms and showers clean and well kept. Campground host in site 41 very helpful and personable. One of the better ones we have encountered on our camping travels. We will return to this campground again.
