The campground was clean and fairly quiet. Paved roads, Semi-secluded campsites are nice. Nice clear lake with sand bottom. Nice beach and boat landing. Bathrooms and shower house were clean. The dump station was very handy. Hosts were very helpful and friendly.
The downside was that cellular service was pretty much non existent. Our phones were in SOS mode the entire time even with a cell booster on our RV. Not every site was electric hook up. And also all water sites are now reservation required instead of half being first come first serve which is a disappointment. Overall the campground is very nice.

Beautiful campsite! Easy access to the water and launching kayak was no problem. The lake was very clear and we saw lots of fish. The bathrooms were well maintained and shower was always warm. Only complaint was that the fire grill grate was missing most of the bars. Made grilling a little difficult. Generally really happy about the site!

We go to this campground alot. The only complaint is that the campground host does not need to keep her dog on a leash------but i have to. Why is that??? Signs clearly say, dogs must be leashed at all times. I asked her. All I got was don't worry, he's 10

Our Yooper Run hot rod group selected two primitive group sites, oak and ash. They sites were larger than expected for 6 vehicles. No electric but that was a plus when the stars shined above. The shower and restroom building was close by, and had lights and running water. Showers had ample hot water. The camp host greeted us and made us feel welcome. We’ll book again. The beach was clean as well as the lake.

Overall, a nice campground. Campsites were huge, which is nice for being able to move around in the site and be able to have multiple options for setting up. We had a large group that included 10 sites. We book next to each other to avoid disturbing other campers. 2 of our sites left a day early, but the sites were still paid for through the next day. This typically happens and that site stays empty. Boulder Lake decided to double dip and rent out one of the sites without a refund to the original payee. We parked a car in the other empty site so they could not do the same with that site and we were confronted, but told the camp host it was not right for them to double book and it was technically still the 1st campers site. We have never had a campground do this. The only other "complaint" would be that the firepits were all very full of ash, so they do not get emptied very often.

the campsites were nicely spaced & the bathhouse was very nice. These are the 2 main items I believe people are interested. Then, it's activities. We enjoy hiking. There was very little of this available. It seems most people come here to fish. Beautiful lake.
