What Guests Are Saying
Spearhead Point is a beautiful, quiet campground ideal for tent campers, offering spacious sites and access to kayaking and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained facilities and the natural surroundings, making it a favorite spot for family outings. While some amenities like flush toilets and showers are lacking, and staffing issues have been noted, the overall experience is positive, with a strong sense of community among campers.

We love Spearhead Point, come here at least once a year usually in late fall. The camp is beautiful, quiet and has great hiking nearby. We look forward to the completion of the lodge renovation.

Although the weather was very cold, rainy, and snowy, we had a great time! We had the park to ourselves for most of our stay, but our neighbors were quiet and quite a distance away. Our site was right at the tip and we were surrounded by water and had our own little dock. If the weather was better we were prepared to fish. Instead, we sat out by the fire (in the snow), cooked on our campfire and listened to the Badger game via transistor radio. PERFECT anniversary weekend!

We really enjoyed staying here! The facilities were adequate and the camp hosts kept the toilets clean and tidy.
I will add that finding the campground was a little difficult. We had family traveling separately and they drove around for over an hour because the route was not marked very well. In addition, the trails could use a little better marking or perhaps adding a trail map to the campground information board so that campers can know how long the hike might be (with the forest being so vast, we were afraid to take a trail not knowing if it would take us an hour or two to get back - or half the day!).
