Nicely-shaded spot. Great camp host. Ranger made regular checks on things. Pay showers. Relatively clean bathrooms.

Beautiful park, big spaces, and great for dogs! Wish we’d have stayed longer but we will the next time.

The Hosts are amazing here. I was standing at the window trying to figure out where to go, and I saw a sign saying "back in 15 minutes" and they were. They were wonderful and helpful and I enjoyed working with them. Since I was in a tent and it was 7p.m., I asked them which was the best one left. They gave it to me and they were right it was a gorgeous spot. Because of them, when I come back through South Dakota, and the time of day was right for stopping in, I would so go to this place again not only because it is a beautiful place, but because they were so wonderfully helpful. Thank you for having them at this place.

I highly recommend adding a good path or road from the camp ground directly to the water. People camp near water to access it and the little path down the hill is not safe and driving to water is not convenient.

This is a beautiful campground with amenities I welcomed after a week of rustic campgrounds. The shower was great and electric service made my night a little easier. The sites are spacious and private and the setting is very scenic. Joyce, a camp host, checked in with me and provided a free pass to the Eau Galle Reservoir, though I didn't have time to visit it. Very nice experience. I would return given the opportunity.

Hosts were very friendly and the facilities were very clean, and right next to the Crystal Caves.

We love highland ridge campground. Beautiful setting secluded large sites. Only downside... No running water at the dump station. No way to clean up a spill. Or rinse your sewer hose.
