It’s not overly clear in descriptions of the site, but the campgrounds are not really close to the day use recreation areas. Other places I’ve been, they're more integrated and you can walk from campground and get into the hiking trails, etc. Here, as far as i could tell, I’d need to drive 15 mins or so to get to any trails. Pros and cons to both set ups, but just sharing since I hadn’t realized it before booking.

The park was beautiful! Great camping spot, neighbors were friendly and spaced far enough away from us for privacy, and it was fun watching horseback riders come through the area. The park manager was also really helpful and easy to locate. Will definitely be re-visiting this park again!

This is a great campground! Check-in was with the camp host and took about 30 seconds. Stayed at a walk-in campsite which was quite nice, under many trees, and the ground was soft to put the tent stakes in. Would recommend!
