What Guests Are Saying
Two Lakes is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts, particularly Sparky, who goes above and beyond for guests. Campers appreciate the quiet atmosphere, spacious sites, and opportunities for fishing, boating, and hiking. While some concerns were raised about the reservation system and occasional maintenance issues, the overall experience remains positive, with many returning year after year.

Two Lakes has been our best camping experience yet. The grounds were impeccably cared for, bathrooms were incredibly clean for being ‘pit toilets’ and the sites were large and well maintained. The boat landings and docks were great and the water was crystal clear. We have zero complaints. I’m addition to what I’ve already mentioned, the staff was wonderful and it was so convenient to have access to ice and firewood sales on site.

This was our VERY favorite place of the four places we camped on a 2 week trip through Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was perfect. The campsite was large and private with a trail to the lake where we fished and swam. The water was clear. It was beautiful and peaceful. The restrooms were immaculate and the camp hostess was very kind and helpful. The park was perfect for our bike rides and dog walks. The whole park seemed very well cared for and the swimming beaches looked nice. It's a long drive from Omaha, NE but we WILL be back!

This was a beautiful semi-rustic campground. Bathrooms were cleaned at least daily. Lake Owen was a very clear lake with decent fishing. My daughter and I hiked around the smaller lake. Very pretty hike with a bog and beaver dam.

This was our first national forest campground experience and we are hooked! The campsite was huge and near the (very clear) lake, vault toilets were clean, camp hosts were helpful. We will be back as soon as possible!

Our campsite was great. Our two kids caught fish right from the campsite. We saw a snapping turtle swim in the water near the fishing dock. Very cool! The campground hosts are great.
