This is one of the best camp grounds I have been to. Camp hosts are wonderful. Facilities are keep emacilate. Will definitely be coming back.

We camp there two or 3 times a summer every year. Always enjoy our stay! Clean bathrooms and campsites. Our favorite place to relax.

I didn’t get to do much exploring of the campgrounds but it was super quiet and looked like a great place to bring your kayak or canoe to enjoy a couple of days off grid. I’m sure I’ll be back.

Found this gem of a BLM campground while driving around the forest roads in Sept, 2022. Friends and I reserved two adjoining sites for 5 nights in September. It did not disappoint. After Labor Day occupancy level drops so most of the campground was empty. This BLM campground is undeveloped so no showers, flush toilets, shore power, or water. Knew that so not a worry. What we didn't know was how beautiful camping on Bass Lake was going to be! Clear night skies with the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy visible. Loons daily morning and evening. Bald eagles. Deer in the campsite. Pileated woodpeckers **in the campsite**!! Very happy with the experience. $7 for a bundle of wood and a crackling fire in the fire ring with loons calling over Bass Lake in the night. We plan to return.

Such a beautiful, clean campground. The only complaint we had was the people who ran their generators most of the night. The hosts were great.

Very nice, well maintained. Site 41 was spacious and easy enough to back into. You can see your neighbors, but there are trees for privacy. Lakes are great.

coming here for over 50 years. Love that it is still rustic! No need for electric hook ups, glad they keep it simple. Would be nice if people were not saving sites with chairs or boat trailers, keeps fcfs campers who travel a long way from getting a site, more manager control of this would be helpful. Also would like forest service to build another restroom between sites 12 and 29, would help out those camped in sites 16 thru 24. Otherwise love this place.

We had a great time at Two Lakes. The staff there are very friendly and did a great job of keeping everything clean. Even though it was 4th of July weekend the campground was quite. The campsites were also clean and spacious. We will be back!!!

From Drummond follow Forest Road 213 southeast to the intersection of
Forest Road 213 and 216. Veer left (east) and continue on Forest Road 213
for 2 miles. Veer right (south) onto Forest Road 214 and travel 0.5 mile
to the campground.

General
- First-come, first-served sites may be available
- Aquatic Invasive Species decontamination is required by Bayfield County ordinance when you land your boat at the Two Lakes Campground or North Outlet landing on Lake Owen. The campground has a sanitizing station with a mild bleach solution to kill AIS and the North Outlet Landing has a hot water washing system. Either may be used prior to entering the lake.
- Maximum vehicle size is 50 feet Maximum of 8 people and 4 vehicles at each camp site. Vehicle capacity limit includes vehicles, wheeled camping units and trailers.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Don't move firewood: To limit the spread of invasive tree-killing pests, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Some states have quarantines and may confiscate your firewood. Please help protect our forests from invasive species by obtaining your firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Visit dontmovefirewood.org for more information.
