Nicely laid out camp sites with good amenities. Enjoyed the Baden Lake trail hike!

No water at the sites but plenty of spigots around. There is a freshwater hose (in addition to black tank flush) at the dump station to fill up the RV on the way in.

We enjoy staying at Arrowhead Campground when visiting the Uwharrie National Forest. It is generally quiet during the week but fills up fast when Friday/Saturday rolls around. The sites are nice & we love the wooded setting. However, a little tree trimming maintenance would be nice in places. The last site we stayed in (#35) was kind of tight, at the entrance, due to a dead, vine covered tree. We bring an off road vehicle in addition to our truck & trailer. The dead tree made getting it parked next to our truck a little tricky. I would also recommend having good blocks for the leveling jacks as this site has quite a bit of slope to it. On a side note, I was very disappointed at the amount of trash we saw around the lake! Especially along the unpaved trail that starts at the boat launch & hugs the shoreline. Next time we visit we're going to bring extra trash bags & gloves so we can have a family walk/clean up day. All in all we had a great time hiking the trails, 4 wheeling & taking in the scenery of the Uwharrie National Forest. We would highly recommend this campground!
