Beautiful location. Facilities clean. Campsites nicely maintained. One camping group was disregarding the fire ban, which was a cause for concern but I can’t blame the campground for idiocy. The rules were posted and visible everywhere.

Beautiful, beautiful park! We were only here 1 night but were so impressed with the area and the park, we plan to return. Even though the sites were booked, the campground is quiet and clean! Definitely a cool respite from the heat of summer in the low lying areas.

While at Middle Fork, our neighbors on each side of us started their generators at 6:00 pm and left to go to the rodeo in Buffalo ruining our evening. We had to eat dinner while listening to generators roar. We have been camping at Middle Fork for 30 plus years and have never had such a terrible experience before. They left their campsites in the care of teenagers who we felt it was not their responsibility to handle the situation. How dare these people ruin our last night in the Bighorns! Totally unacceptable behavior. These type of campers belong down in Buffalo at the KOA and not in the mountains

Very nice campground. Mostly a quiet campground. Sites right on the river. We were in site 7 and it was a great site. Space between neighbors and easy river access. Make sure you know how to get there, as there is no sign at the road.

Our favorite campground in the Bighorns. The Camp Host is awesome. We love camping close to the river, also a great view when you go to the top. Our family had a great time.
