Very nice campground. Mostly a quiet campground. Sites right on the river. We were in site 7 and it was a great site. Space between neighbors and easy river access. Make sure you know how to get there, as there is no sign at the road.

Our favorite campground in the Bighorns. The Camp Host is awesome. We love camping close to the river, also a great view when you go to the top. Our family had a great time.

This is a beautiful, well-tended forest service campground, high in the tall pines and right next to a rushing river. Restrooms were clean and handy. The highway up was very good. Two small things: we didn’t realize there was a turnaround at the end of the road which would have made backing into our space much easier. And we were advised not to bring firewood from our home state and that the campground host would have some for sale but by the time we arrived the CG host was long gone and at a campground down the road. It would have been nice to have a fire but we were fine in our camper. High altitude and cold at night!

this is an excellent campsite, all sites are well positioned and not too close to each other. The camp hosts were super friendly and the toilets were the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground.
thanks for a great experience.
