Nice to have electricity, but sites are small and there really isn't any place to pitch a tent.

Nice, easy to get to with a 40’ Class A with a toad. Camp hosts very friendly with wood for sale. Enjoyed campfires with Elk burgling in the background.

Great campground! They had wood for sale at the rangers trailer, fresh water, bathrooms, and bear proof food storage. I loved being just a walk away from the lake and it was so peaceful being away from traffic. I definitely recommend Sibley Lake campground. It was a little out of the way but our favorite campground on the trip. Bring a good mallet because some of the ground can be hard to get the stakes into.

We've stayed at this campground every year for 10 years. I have never been spoken to by a campground host in such a manner in nearly 20 years of camping. During this visit we had NUMEROUS poor communications with Crystal the campground host. On the day we arrived, within 20 mins of being there, we took a walk around the campground and upon returning our garbage was gone. It was 3pm and there was nothing in it. Later that afternoon she came over and informed us she "confiscated" our trash sack because we weren't being "bear aware". The next morning she yelled at our children while they rode their bikes. We had other family that was staying at Tie Flume who came to visit she yelled at them for their truck being parked "too close to vegetation". I told her I appreciated her being flexible as they only stopped in to say hi. She rolled her eyes at me and stomped off. That afternoon my inlaws arrived to have dinner with us (they were staying at Bear Lodge) and she interrupted dinner to inform us that we are only allowed one vehicle. Their tiny Subaru fit completely in our camp site next to our vehicle so they weren't on the road. I told her they were there for a visit and not spending the night. I let her know we would come talk to her after dinner was over. After dinner I walked down to her camp site and handed her $20 cash and told her my inlaws would be back in the morning for breakfast and their car would be there for an hour. I also told her they would be leaving afterwards because their trip was ruined by the constant interruption of a rude campground host. They had never been to the Bighorns and were so excited to experience that with us. While taking our nightly walk I noted that there were a few sites that had dogs (not on a leash) and never did she stop by to let them know that's a rule. Nor did she enforce these folks picking up their dogs feces. I hope you consider NOT hiring her again next year. Many families we spoke with had terrible encounters also.

The campground was very clean and surprisingly quiet for all the other campers around. We didn't have a campfire, but it was nice that there was firewood available if we needed it. It was easy to make a reservation through Recreation.gov. We would definitely go there again.
