5 stars for site host, campsite was clean, facilities were clean

2 stars for the overall campsite, it is VERY busy. Cars traveling through during the day and you are close to a road so you always hear traffic-think motorcycles and ATVs-loud! We had a lot of kids with us so with the business it wasn't the best campsite for us and the kids.

This was our 3rd time visiting. It is such a peaceful place. The stars are so close you feel like you can touch them. The silence that is there is so beautiful. Cooking all your meals over the fire! My husband enjoyed the fly fishing. Fun family memories to last a lifetime!! Can’t wait to go back!

Great place for dry camping for a few days; site was spacious; Host was wonderful. Saw a moose as we were leaving. There is a dump station about 5 miles down the road. Will return

Just a great campground in the BIG HORNS. We had a fine pull through site. The host was wonderful. We even added a day to our 3-day reservation. The improved and very level picnic table/fire ring/Forest Service pole was great. All good at the campsite. Our only complaint was the 3-mile gravel road leading to the Tie Flume CG was "wash-boardy", very slow and in need of a good grading................OK, when not towing but terrible and very slow when towing out T-trailer.

Wonderful campground. Close to a beautiful creek. Lots of ATVs in the area so there is noise from those.

Beautiful campground! Campsites near river are perfect settings to walk and see wildlife. Campsites near host very nice and helpful. Bathrooms kept pleasantly clean, and could smell the bleach! Always appreciate a clean rest room!! I would definitely recommend this campground!

Beautiful campground along the South Tongue River. Good wildlife viewing at the campground and easy access to nearby hiking trails and additional fishing spots.

Way out of the way, dusty and noisy because of all the ATV traffic on the roads on both sides of the campground.

Long time visitors to Tie Flume and Island Park. This last visit to Tie Flume, reservations were somewhat difficult to make as both parks were immediately filled up for our chosen dates. However, the time we spent at Tie Flume was wonderful because the park was extremely clean and well maintained thanks to the efforts of an EXCELLENT camp host. Can't tell you how kind and efficient she was. Wish all campgrounds were run this way! The only disappointment was the amount of aquatic growth (didymo) in the South Tongue River.
