What Guests Are Saying

Owen Creek campground offers beautiful scenery with wildlife, particularly when camping near the creek. The hosts, Paul and Ann, maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere. However, it is located in a busy motorized recreation area, leading to significant noise and dust from ATVs, which may not suit those seeking a quiet experience.

This is a small campground but we camped in the far back next to the creek and it was beautiful with deer and wildlife around.

Campsites were clean with nice views. I wish Recreation.gov had given us an indication when we reserved the site that this campground was located in a very popular motorized recreation area. The number of ATVs buzzing down the Owen Creek Road was incredible--lots of noise and dust. I wouldn't recommend this campground if you are looking for a quiet recreation experience.

A very pretty place. I did need to shovel out the fire pit because it was almost full of old ash.

We had a gorgeous site. Enjoyed the nights we were there very much. We didn't see the camp hosts at all and wondered if they were there. Fortunately, we didn't need anything. We will most definitely consider staying at Owen Creek CG again.
