What Guests Are Saying
Owen Creek campground offers beautiful scenery with wildlife, particularly when camping near the creek. The hosts, Paul and Ann, maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere. However, it is located in a busy motorized recreation area, leading to significant noise and dust from ATVs, which may not suit those seeking a quiet experience.

Loved this campground. Our site faced the meadow where a Moose and baby ambled through, then an hour later was flooded by a very large herd of sheep.

I love this campground for the relative quiet & peace. And I was lucky enough to see moose (IN the campground), deer and elk. Was also treated to a pair of sandhill cranes returning to their nest each evening. Very relaxing place to be!

Always great to see the camp hosts waking the camp talking to the visitors. Super clean bathrooms and well run. We have stayed here before and we can’t wait to book for next summer.

The Owen Creek campground is beautiful and near a creek where the moose sometimes visit. Lots of great trails for dirt bikes or ATVs. Our site had several large trees for our hammock campers. One of our favorite destinations!

Beautiful little campground. The creek is not visible from the campsites. Somewhat annoying that there is ORV noise and dust from the dirt road into the campsite. Campground is well kept and it was perfect for an overnight stop.

We come to Owen Creek every year it's so peaceful the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is changing the first come first serve sites from 2 to 1 just switch them around we usually come with a group and we reserve site one and then there is someone in between us which is silly usually there isn't a problem but this year the person in between had a dog that wasn't the most friendly and the grand kids were scared of it. Love the campground
