This place is gorgeous. From the drive up, to the hike we happened upon at Steamboat Point, to the beautifully maintained campground and helpful host. I have never seen such immaculate vault toilets! Plenty of room for rigs of all sizes and lots of space between sites. Gorgeous lake with easy ramp access. I could stay here a week if my tanks would let me!

S. L. was an along the way stop that turned out to be a hidden gem in mountains . Dixon the campsite host was helpful about the local area and gracious.

Great camp host, very friendly and helpful. Electric is nice and spots are good sized. Left a day early because we had 6”+ of snow June 12th 😳. Plan accordingly!

Very nice, clean campground! Lots of moose to see close to camp, great hiking trails and an awesome dock to fish from. If you are pulling a trailer and have the option, recommend getting there from the East and leaving to the West. It's a climb either way but seems to be a little easier from East to West. Both ways have spectacular scenery that in our opinion, rivals that of the Beartooth Highway as well as Going to the Sun road!

From Dayton, Wyoming, take U.S. Highway 14 southwest about 25 miles to the campground.
The campground is accessible via U.S. Highway 14, which can be reached from Dayton, Wyoming, approximately 25 miles to the northwest.
Elevation: 2530 feet
75 mi drive to downtown Buffalo (about 1 hr 18 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- The administering organization reserves the right to substitute sites without prior notice.Two non-towed vehicles allowed per site. The first vehicle is included in the basic fee; the second vehicle will be charged an extra $11.00 fee at the campground
- Groups larger than 20 people must use a Day Use facility: Willow Park, Hettinger, Ranger Creek Recreation Area or Pine Island offer group camping
- Firewood may be purchased from the campground host.
