What Guests Are Saying
Big Game Campground offers a quiet and shady environment with very clean bathrooms. However, adding gravel around the picnic tables would improve the experience by preventing mud during rain. Overall, it's a pleasant camping spot.

Being near the Shoshone river with lots of hardwood trees made this a good scenic location. The site was flat which made set up easier. There are no hookups, dump station, or even a place to fill up water but that was known and expected. However the price is not too high either at $28. I liked that the sites themselves were not too close to each other so not too much concern about running a generator and disturbing the neighbors. One possible improvement would be to create a walking path all the way to the river. You could get within 50 to 100 feet walking through one of the sites but no closer without running in to various obstacles.

Great chill/low traffic campsite right outside Yellowstone. Camp host could not be found.

There was no camp host the whole time we were there (4days). Campsites were not maintained. Pit toilets had not been serviced in over a week. Grasses on each site had grown very high and fire rings full of ash and wood.

Excellent campsite. Most sites are separated by trees. I'd come back here again.

Quiet, small campground on the river; just what we needed to relax after a day in Yellowstone.
