What Guests Are Saying

North Tongue is a peaceful and clean campground with well-maintained bathrooms, ample space for larger trailers, and great opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing, including moose and deer. While some sites have slopes and noise from nearby recreational traffic can be an issue, overall, visitors appreciate the friendly camp host and the cozy atmosphere. Reservations are recommended due to the campground's popularity, and the addition of electricity would enhance the experience.

The campground itself was nice and cozy. I had a reservation for #8, but people were in it when we got there after the check-in time. I was told by the camp host that there had been some switches made. Basically, the people that took our spot had gotten there earlier in the week and decided they didn’t like the spot they had reserved. As a result, we were told to take one of 2 open spots. I didn’t appreciate being told to change spots and don’t understand how that’s possible. Other than that, it was quiet and the restrooms were very clean.

This campground has just the right mix of amenities (potable water, firewood etc.) and isolation. It’s not far from Rt 14 but you never hear it. And the valley below is full of moose!

You have the best camp hosts ever ... Leni and Bryan are excellent ~ they are busy all the time with cleaning off the picnic tables etc. We have camped at another campground up in the Big Horns and the outdoor toilet didn't have toilet paper for at least two days and the hosts were spending a lot of time walking their dog but not doing their job. Leni and Bryan are totally opposite to that ... they are friendly and welcome you and want to know if your camping trip was good ~ amazing people!! Thank you Leni and Bryan!!!

Site was not a great tent camping site and sites were relatively close together compared to other campsites. Better for camper camping. Bathrooms were very clean though.

Great campsite (#7) conveniently located near toilet and bear box. Loved proximity to North Tongue, Tie Flume, and Sibley Lake. Saw moose, elk, mule deer, Sandhill cranes and Great Horned owls. Camp hosts very friendly.

The hosts are great people, been there for several years. The bathrooms are always some of the cleanest around. Very nice campground.
