Nice campground, our favorite. No bugs! We reserved a site, but it was too sunny, we wanted shade so we found a sight that was not reserved. It wasn't a problem at all.

Campground and sites are great, plenty of space, water quality is fine for drinking. Toilets were clean enough but bring a flashlight for evening/night trips - no lights inside. If you are tent camping really evaluate which sites might may have flat spaces. Located three miles off of highway 14 reduced road noise, except for logging trucks near the campground; most campsites are heavily wooded so don't expect "views" except for incredible nighttime star gazing. Do bring lots of bug spray - and don't forget bear spray - there are critters and a black bear in the area. Tie Flume is near a really nice trout stream for fly fishing, and if you walk down stream of the bridge - you'll have a great hike. Kareen, the campground host, is nice and is on-site if you need support.

Tie Flume is a great camp ground and the host does a terrific job keeping the facility first rate. She was at work attending to things at 6:00am every day! Pretty impressive!

Sites are large with plenty of space between camps. Lots of wildlife scampering on the grounds and deer walking through camp in the evenings. Water is from an old fashioned lever pump. Stream is in walking distance.

We stayed at campsite number 11. The campsite was spacious and clean with plenty of room between sites. The vault toilets were serviced daily and always clean/stocked. Potable water fresh from the mountain was available by hand pump and firewood could be purchased at the camp host site. The camp host was friendly, knowledgeable, and truely cared about the campgrounds. She made daily rounds to monitor campsites and campers. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The weather was beautiful, just a little chilly at night. Used our side by side every day and set out on an adventure. Look forward to our July trip, at Noth Tongue. Our favorite place to camp.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Camp host was excellent--so clean, trash taken care of early every morning, went door to door to make sure everyone knew a bear had been in camp the night prior. Really did a great job-much appreciated. We were surprised by how many campsite sat empty but said they were reserved (both online and on the tags at the end of the campsites). It happened so much which was a shame. And there were A LOT. Like more than 6 every night. I'm sure other people would have loved to get in if those campers had cancelled teh reservation instead of holding it and never showing.

From Dayton, Wyoming: Travel 26.5 miles west on U.S. Highway 14 to Burgess Junction. Take a left and continue 5 miles south on U.S. Highway 14, then turn east (right) onto Forest Road 26. Travel about 2 miles to the junction with Forest Road 16, where the campground is located.

Policies & Rules
General
- The administering organization reserves the right to substitute sites without prior notice. Two non-towed vehicles allowed per site. The first vehicle is included in the basic fee; the second vehicle will be charged an extra $9.00 fee at the campground.
- Groups larger than 20 people must use a Day Use facility: Willow Park, Hettinger, Ranger Creek Recreation Area or Pine Island offer group camping
- Firewood bundles may be purchased from the campground host.

- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity).
