Wonderful place. Beautiful river and trail nearby. We stayed in site 17 which is about 100 yards from the river through some trees.

Tie Flume Campground is praised for its beautiful location along the South Tongue River, clean facilities, and an exceptional camp host, Kareen, who is friendly and attentive. Many visitors enjoyed the spacious campsites, wildlife sightings, and the peaceful atmosphere, although some noted noise from nearby ATV traffic and limited restroom facilities. Overall, it is considered a well-maintained campground with great hiking opportunities and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many campers.

This is a great campground particularly if you get a campsite overlooking the South Tongue River in Loop B. The host does a terrific job in all respects. She is friendly, helpful and keeps everything in first rate shape. I have camped here many times and always look forward to my stay.

Pretty campground. Extremely strict dog leash laws. Sites don't have bear boxes. Host was a little much. We left our reservation early to primitive camp nearby.

The camp host was very available. Circled the loops talking to campers. Bathrooms were very clean; even after all the rain. Never out of toilet paper. Highly recommend. 5 Stars.

Normally a very peaceful campground wasn’t. Loud ATVs and Polaris UTVs buzzing through the campground.
But the worst offender was the guy in the trailer next to me cranking up his generator at 2:45am and running it for 2-3 hours and wouldn’t turn it off when asked. He also cranked up his ATV. He and his wife left at 6am otherwise I would have reported him to the camp host.
Otherwise Tie Flume is an ideal campground
