Lizard Creek Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting on the shores of Jackson Lake, with spacious and well-maintained sites that provide a sense of privacy. Camp hosts are friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with helpful tips and support. While the restrooms could use improvement, the campground is a great base for exploring both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, making it a favored destination for many campers.

Beautiful, private and quiet campground. Each campsite sits well away from the next for privacy. Many sites have their own trail to Jenny Lake. Would return again!

Great place to stay. In the middle of mother nature, and right next to Yellowstone, for some added adventure.

Very nice quiet peaceful campground. I wish there were more stalls in the bathroom but otherwise everything was perfect. The spot was nice and shaded, the bear box was huge so we had plenty of storage room for food. Pretty wildflowers all over the forest paths and right on beautiful Jackson lake. Would highly recommend.

Its our favorite campground in the Teton NP. Less crowds and more laid back.

A lovely campground with fantastic staff and less hustle and bustle than others nearby. We were able to take advantage of all that Grand Teton had to offer and loved our stay!

I've been coming to the Tetons for decades and finally stayed at Lizard Creek. What a gem! Site 40 is perfect; it's well spaced from adjacent sites and has an unobstructed view of the lake. The only downside I experienced is that the ground is very dusty--probably not an issue for most, but something to note if you also have a toddler who likes to roll in the dirt. Location is 10/10, close enough to Colter Bay for supplies and lake fun, but far enough from the busy crowds that you really feel like you're in nature. Other campers were very quiet and respectful, adding to the appeal of this campground. Bathrooms weren't glamorous, but they have flush toilets and sinks as opposed to pit toilets (something that's usually a trade-off for solitude at a campsite). Overall, I highly recommend Lizard Creek and specifically Site 40. Will return next summer for sure!

Water Hookup Fee: The Utility fee is imposed on all lodging and camping products to defer the higher cost of providing water and sewer in the remote locations in which we operate. The amount of this fee is determined by taking the difference in the cost of providing these services less the comparable cost of similar services in local areas.
