We had a wonderful stay at Lizard Creek Campground! We enjoyed the cleanliness of the site and restrooms. Our site was just across the road from Jackson Lake and it was beautiful. The ranger and camp host kept us informed of a bear that frequented the area. This campground was close to Yellowstone National Park, South entrance. We definitely recommend this campground and we will come back again. Thank you!

Simply the BEST camp hosts I’ve ever had. Facilities were clean and well maintained, and they kept the ruckus down to a minimum so quiet campers can get the calm they’re looking for. Walk in sites are actually quite well spaced, though some of the center loop spaces all stare in on each other. If given the chance I’d take a walk in or outer edge spot, but I reserved a last minute cancellation so couldn’t be picky. Make sure you have bear spray here, and follow the rules on bear aware food control, there was a bear in camp the day before I arrived there but with people following the rules, it didn’t bother coming back the next night.

Camp ground was one of the prettiest I have been to, well maintained and clean. The place is really well located. It is close enough to the best hikes in Teton, but is also very close to the south Yellowstone entrance. The south entrance is not the busiest port of entry to the park, which makes it easy to take day trips from the campground to the main Geyser basins and to the grand canyon of the Yellowstone.
In addition, Bonnie and Bruce (campground keepers) were absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. They made our stay even better! would definitely recommend this place and hope to return to it!

Lake bed was dried up but the site was beautiful, would've been overlooking Jackson Lake with a little path down to swim if it weren't for the drought :(
bathrooms were a tad dusty with cobwebs, easy improvement to work on and the dish wash needed updating also, original laundry tubs looks 30 years old.

Nice campground, short walk in to the tent site from the car, easy to access coming from Yellowstone as it's in the north of the park. Has flush toilets in the bathrooms and a washing/water filling station between them. You can see the moon rising through the trees here.

Love this campground - it's a little far from most of the popular stops in Grand Teton National Park, but it's also very peaceful and has pretty views of Jackson Lake. We'd stay here again!

Make sure to check water levels before you go. Amazing campsite but at the moment Jackson Lake is dried out at this campground area. The camp hosts are super nice!
