Nice campground for exploring the Grand Tetons. Site 13 is beautiful, feels like being right in the woods (mosquitos!), lots of privacy, has its own little path to the lake. Campground showers are… well.. okay.

The only shower facility only had 2 working showers out of 4. Not acceptable. Otherwise it was great.

This is a much different experience from our Yellowstone campsite. Feels more secluded and great location next to the lake. The showers and laundry services are nice. We had a tent only site and the tent pad area has really hard dirt that we could not stake the tent correctly even using our rubber mallet. We saw more wildlife throughout the campground as well. There is what seemed like a resident foxes sneaking around empty sites looking for food. Also saw elk around.

Our site (79) was shaded and relatively private. The tent-only site next to it was very close, and I think I would choose 75 for more privacy on a future stay. Plus, it gets a bit more sun which would help with solar. The sites are manageable to get into with a 27 foot travel trailer, with a bit of patience. Sites 79 and 75 as well as some others are wide enough to park the tow vehicle next to the trailer. The campground is small and quiet, with good facilities including a laundromat. The water fill and dump station were convenient too. We rented kayaks on the lake and hiked up to the top of Signal Mountain (you can drive as well). There were elk, mule deer and coyotes in the campground. The mosquitos were the only negative. All in all, an enjoyable campground that is in a good location to get both north and south, including the Jenny Lake area.

The location of the campground was great and easy to access the entire park. The sites were more spread out so you were not on top of your neighbors. The tent pad was nice and flat making it an easy/comfortable set up. The biggest downfall was the bathrooms. They were not clean, had bugs and spiders everywhere. The men’s bathroom was not filled with toilet paper for days even leading someone to leave a note on the staff cleaning log stating “the last stall has not been cleaned for a long time”
